Game Changers (Part 1 & 2)

(3 week class)

This class is for dogs of any age, with any or no issues...

If your dog has bitten a person or another dog or you think he/she is aggressive we request you bring your dog with a muzzle. If you need help with a muzzle contact us before class.

These Games will help your relationship with your dog. We will be focusing on promoting calmness, with out it generally there is chaos. If a dog is afraid, excited or in a state of aggression the chemicals released in the brain are more or less the same. Please really think about that, reread that last sentence, it is ground breaking to understand that. If we promote calmness we have a dog that is more receptive and open up the possibility of a conversation with our pet.

The goal is to build your relationship, confidence and optimism and that of your dog.

This course will help with basic obedience, walking on/off leash, lifestyle, off leash training, agility and every aspect of your life with your dog.

If you have a dog with "problem" behavior let us know when you sign up for the class.

Each lesson will require you to bring your dogs bed or something you will use to teach "place" and have a regular 6ft leash and a lunge leash (long leash - 10-15 feet in length).

It is also REQUIRED that you do NOT feed your dog it's morning meal but bring that kibble to use as treats.

The first class we ask that you bring a list of undesirable behaviors your dog has, if they have them, and a list of 5 signs that your dog is stressed.

Stephanie will be your main instructor for this class. Our first week of class will be at the Home Depot located near the Kohls and Texas Roadhouse.

Bring water and a dog bowl - we will be bringing extra water and bowls, but please do your best to try to provide for your own pup as our resources will be limited to what the instructors can carry.

Bring treats - We will be in new places with your dog, and above all else we want them to have fun and be successful!

Bring cash - on weeks 2 and 3 we will be going to different restaurants and coffee shops. Please bring $10-20 in cash if you'd like to eat with us to make it a little easier to order food.

Wear comfortable shoes - We will be walking with our pups for most of each class.

Sniff & Play

(3 Week Class)

This three week class is going to go over and teach you and your dog how to start having fun. With something they love more than anything! Using their noses!!!

The very first sense that your dogs acquire when they’re born is their scent. Dogs have more than 300 MILLION scent receptors! Humans only have about 400!

So why not start letting your dogs have fun using the activity that they love the most! Sniffing!

This class is solely for having fun and playing scent related games with your dog through the use of their nose.

Mental stimulation is just as important, if not more so than physical exercise.

Level :1 Obedience is a prerequisite for this class.

Each class is 1 hour long.

Canine Nail Care & Handling

(3 Week Class)

For puppies and adult dogs.

First class is WITHOUT your dogs!

At-home nail care is a daunting task for many dog owners. By solely relying on a groomer or veterinarian to do it instead, many dogs are not getting their nails trimmed as frequently as they should. This class is designed to help both owners and dogs to feel more comfortable and confident about the nail care process by teaching proper trimming methods and handling techniques with an emphasis on safety.
